His lite or others taking it. Though He died, He was in control because He chose to lay down His life. When you choose to consider the space you are in an opportunity for being an oasis for others, your world will be filled with the love you longed for all along.

What about your money? You might say, "I worked for it. I earned it. It's mine...isn't it?" All I can say is when I'm talking with singles I hear a whole lot of "I" and "me, me, me" talk and I wonder if these people will ever be able to say "we." It's hard to shift: into sharing mode if you haven't practiced. Like the only child who has been indulged for so long but now must share her toy with a visitor, I see many adults hoarding their treasures and pouting when asked to share. If your money belongs to you, you will never have any. "What?" I think just heard a collective yelp. So I will repeat what I just said. If your money is your money, you will never have any. But if your money is God's money. He will protect it for you. Keep in mind that we actually do not make a dime without Him, It is He who gives us the power to gain wealth. He then makes us stewards over what we receive.

The mind-set that our money is not our own not only helps us to be more generous people, it also makes us much more responsible. If your money were just yours, you would spend it any ol' kind of way. But when you pause for the cause to consider that God has entrusted a portion of His wealth to you, you must now be more careful of how you manage what has been put in your care. It means that you would distribute it the way He would distribute it. So perhaps that means sacrificing that beau-tifiil sweater you wanted to buy in lieu of helping someone in need. It is profoundly true that our heart is where our treasure is (Matthew 6:21) which is why, in many cases, we put our money.
